The Clubhouse

Just after graduating in 1895, a group of Princeton men decided that annual dinners were not enough for celebrating the strong friendships they had made. Headed by Andrew C. Imbrie '95 they fitted up the third story of 26 West 24th Street into a clubhouse and called themselves "The 95 Club of New York".

A lot has changed since then. Princeton's largest alumni group in New York now occupies a building of its own, offers a library, athletic facilities, dining and hotel rooms, and even a barbershop, not to mention growing from 5 members, to thousands of members from every part of the globe.
