If you would like to make use of Club reciprocity, it is important that you read the following instructions before contacting any reciprocal club:

  1. Contact the reciprocal clubs directly for a specific list of the services and rates offered at the proposed time of the your visit, and to find out if your Letter/Card of Introduction must be faxed or emailed to them prior to your arrival. Members desiring overnight accommodations at reciprocal clubs should request reservations in advance and should advise the host club that they are members of The Princeton Club.

  2. Be sure to bring your Princeton Club membership card for your visit. Reciprocal Clubs require that members present their Princeton Club membership card upon arrival. If you are in need of a new membership card please contact the Princeton Club's Membership Office to request one.

  3. Obtain a Letter/Card of Introduction: All Reciprocal Clubs require that members present a Letter/Card of Introduction either before or upon arrival.

International Associate Clubs, denoted in the clubs list by an "(IAC)", require a special IAC Card that is good for 3 months.

Non-IAC clubs require a Letter, good for 2 weeks.

To obtain a either a 3-month IAC Card or a non-IAC Letter of Introduction, please contact the Princeton Club's Membership Office to request one. Your Letter/Card of Introduction will be emailed to you. You may alternatively request to pick up your Letter/Card from the Princeton Club in person, or supply a fax number to have it faxed to you.

Please also check with each individual club to confirm whether your Letter/Card must be faxed to them prior to arrival, or can be presented upon your arrival.

  4. Overnight Accomodations: Please be sure to check with each club to confirm they have the accommodations you require. Keep in mind that International Associate Clubs, denoted in the clubs list by an "(IAC)", may not feature overnight accommodations, but usually provide dining and other facilities.

  5. Charges and Club Attire: Clubs in the United States will accept credit card payment for charges incurred during your visit. International Clubs are on a cash-only basis unless it is specified that credit cards are accepted. All guest accounts are to be settled upon departure. Generally, Club attire is required at all Clubs, but relaxed on weekends and holidays.
