A Message from the President

April 2, 2020

Dear Fellow Members,

I cannot express how overjoyed I am at the generosity and positive responses we received from our members in support of our request to “pay-forward” 25% of your 2020-2021 dues.  I am truly delighted about the significant number of members who so generously volunteered to pre-pay 100% of their dues.  I cannot thank you enough for your dedication and commitment to the future of the Club.

The overwhelmingly positive response of our members and their confidence in the future of the Club have made me proud to be President of PCNY.  Your pledges will allow us to assist our temporarily laid off employees by paying their accrued benefit time and their health insurance costs for the coming months.  I know our employees are just as important to you as they are to me.  It also allows us to pay the Club’s monthly bills as the situation continues.

In the midst of these uncertain times our membership has come through with overwhelming generosity and support for our Club.  Many members volunteered to donate above their dues to help employees who have become like family to them and have truly made PCNY their “home away from home.”  These additional funds are not only welcome but greatly appreciated and will help us continue employee support. Above all, your commitment to the future of PCNY inspires us to look forward and continue to plan for your return to our Clubhouse.  We are truly grateful for our loyal members.

With that in mind, please stay tuned for our next Club communication which will include a schedule of weekly on-line programs and work-outs to feed your intellect, help you stay in shape and reduce stress while you are home.  We thank our Programs and Young Alumni Committee members who are collaborating to create online programs for our members of all ages and interests. I invite you to join us by staying connected to the PCNY community.

Again, I thank you all for your generous support of the Club.  I hope that you and those close to you stay safe and healthy and look forward to connecting with you soon!
